Understanding the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations

Please Note: you can watch this webinar as soon as you click on the following link to register: Child Safe Foundational Capacity Building Webinar - Recording Registration

The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations are a set of 10 Principles developed in response to the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

They aim to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children across all sectors in Australia. The principles provide a nationally consistent approach to creating child safe culture in organisations that work or engage with children.

The National Principles provide a clear framework to help organisations, services, and communities, create and maintain environments where children feel safe, are respected, and have a voice.

Suitability: We recommend this webinar for all staff, board members, and volunteers from small to medium sized community service organisations in WA, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs).

This is a recorded webinar. For further information, questions, or reaching out for advisory support. please email: childsafeproject@wacoss.org.au
